The Fallen Within Album: Intoxicated (CD, 2009) Label: Coroner Records Genre:Melodic death metal Country: Greece The Fallen Within is an Athens based band, the five partners are Gio S. (Guitars and the founder), Steve Al (Vocals), Billy (Guitars), Johan (Bass), Steve More (Synths) and Nick G. (Drums). The band is created in 2003 and released the first demo CD called “The Conqueror Worm” with two songs. After the band changed the several lineups, they finally began to record the debut full-length album in 2008 and released in 2009 with Coroner Records. This album is produced and recorded by Bob Katsionis from Firewind at Sound Symmetry Studio and mixed and mastered by Ahti Kortelainen at Tico Tico Studio in Finland. Their debut album of 10 metal tracks is called “Intoxicated”. The “Intoxicated” album is contained with melodic bullet with some modern metal cores and electronic/industrial atmosphere on the based of metal music. All tracks in this album are on the same pattern and do not have any dimensions, just flat. You will touch on the same feeling with each song from ‘My Vanity’ to ‘Timeworn’, especially the sound of the production. They have to focus and improve for the next time.
