Death Angel, one of the bands that originated in Bay Area, land of thrasher! Now they backed for four year absence with the album named "Killing Season".

American thrash quintet hailling from San Francisco, California consisted of Ted Aguilar - Guitar, Rob Cavestany - Guitar, Andy Galeon - Drums, Mark Osegueda - Vocals and Dennis Pepa - Bass, backing vocals. Death Angel was borned in 1982, they created their thrash sounds with the debut album called The Unltra-Violence [1987] and hightest success with album Act III [1990]. After that they left the band behind more than ten years and back on the album called "The Art of Dying" [2004], this album didn't make the fans disappoint but they can erected the huge disciple.

After four year absence, Death Angel back with the furious old school thrash metal mixed with new sound for living the live but not too much like the band that "re-engineering" yourself for fawning the new fans in this era.

Though, Killing Season is not the best album if you guys compare with Untra-Violence or Act III but some tracks are interest for me, awful thrash structure still here, songs just like Sonic Beatdown, Carnival Justice and When worlds collide can prove it all. I think some parts of this album that old fans really hate from the producer Nick Raskulinecz [who produced the band like Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, Rush] fill in the songs, yeah I think you guys can imagine about the new sounds from creator name Nick. But not bad at all, like I 'm said above, they fill the modern sounds but not too much. So, I think the old fans who broad-minded call acceptation.
