Greetings, please include in your website. Here we explain why Vrykolakas cannot
make it for the August gig. Please also spread this to all Thai metalheads:

With deepest regret, VRYKOLAKAS has to cancel our first ever chance to play a gig in
Bangkok. We would like to apologize to the very supporting true metalheads from
DEATHGUY and LACERATE for inviting us and arranging the gig for us. We would like to
explain why we have to cancel our participation in this gig:
The main reason is of course flight money. We had the initial misunderstanding that
the flight money would be paid for us so we immediately agreed to play the gig.
Eventually we learnt that we had misunderstood the details of the negotiations. We
are NOT blaming anybody here. It is our mistake for misunderstanding.
The other reason is, Andy our vocalist is participating in Singapore's National Day
on the next day 9th of August. He is under contract with the Singapore Armed Forces
in the military band. That means he has to fly back the same night right after the
gig. Failure to do so would mean he would be seriously dealt with under the mi!
litary low of Singapore Armed Forces. After doing some research, the earliest
flight back to Singapore available is at 7.30pm ( Bangkok time ), which means he
has to reach the airport at 5.30pm. Which also means that he has to leave the gig
early. This is also a crucial reason for our cancelling our participation in the
gig, because that would mean that Andy would have to rush back immediately after
the show, without getting to meet the metalheads of Thailand.
There are really a lot of Thai metalheads that the members of VRYKOLAKAS would to
meet. So missing the chance to play in Bangkok is really a huge disappointment for
us. Once again we apologize to the organizers and all Thai metalheads for all
inconveniences caused.
