Hailz Andy, let 's talk about the new album "Nocturnal Demons of Death", how 's the progress after you released the first full-length "Spawned from hellfire..." in 2004?
Andy Vrykolakas: Vrykolakas have progress far for our debut album in musicality sense.."nocturnal demons of death is only our discography cd so it difficult to judge us how far we have progress.Just await our 2nd album "Unleashing Vrykolakas Upon mankind".then you can notice the different our 2 albums.

How's the different, man? Can you leave some hints for stimulating the fans about your second album?
Andy Vrykolakas: The 2nd album is darker, intense and the songwriting is much more muture. imagine mixed breed of old albums of Immolation and incantation,you will get vrykolakas, not many grinding parts like our 1st album or our eps..more of intense and raw death metal.

Sounds interesting, man…
Andy Vrykolakas: Yep, it sound a better and heavy too compare to our first album.

And I know you released the "Unleashing Vrykolakas upon the Labels" in 2007, just five songs for promo and test of the response something like that?; and how 's the response, man?
Andy Vrykolakas: Actually, we still haven't sent to many labels our 5traxx promo due to our busy work and family scedule.so far we only send to 5 labels and we got 2 respond about possibility of releasing our 2nd album..we right now waiting for offers.our priorty right now is good promotion on label part.if labels promise good promotion, we will sign with them.neverless small or big label.

That's good news for you,man. And what's your purpose to release the compilation album "Nocturnal Demons of Death" in 2008 with Calamity production? Why you don't release the second album in this year?
Andy Vrykolakas: The reason is very simple, it just for promotion purpose before the 2nd album release.. We recieve quite number of emails and feedback concerning our past releases, especially our debut 92 demo which is out of press.so it only logical to compiled all our releases and release it as our discography.wan of calamity production is good friends of ours.He's always motivate and eager when we talked about possibility releasing our discography. so we let calamity prod in charge of releasing and promoting our disco, hopefully our 2nd album will see the light in mid this year too.

All of songs in "Nocturnal Demons..." have to re-mixed or re-arranged or not? Or just the original quality?
Andy Vrykolakas: Except for demo 92 which we remixed, all the songs in the nocturnal demons of death cd are original raw quality.

After you guys release the second album in mid of this year, how's possible that metalheads in Thailand will see your performance again? Have some organizers contact you?
Andy Vrykolakas: Actually we supposed to perform in Bangkok 2007 but due to our work commitment, we have to turn down the offer..I really hope vrykolakas can terrorized the stage in Bangkok again. wan of calamity production inform me he will try to bring in vrykolakas to perform in Bangkok, so we just wait patiently, the perfect time to perform in Thailand.

Good news and hope in 2008, we can see your performance again. How's the Singapore metal scene, man?
Andy Vrykolakas: Nothing much to talk about metal scene here.except for few good young bands on a rise like nafrat, wormrot, asilent, i dont really keep track of other new bands because too many young bands emerge for one reason,to perform in few gigs and then disperse or rip.

Ahh I got your point of views same in Thailand, man. Maybe, some bands created only few songs for the compilation and called them just like a band.
Andy Vrykolakas: yeah.it pathetic man, I think these youngsters want "fame" or made their name known in metal scene.

Andy, I don't know, have any interviewer ever ask you about your band alive the long road in metal scene since 1992 (now, more than 10 years) but you guys released only one first full-length album. What do you think about this topic?
Andy Vrykolakas: I think I have answer a lot of interviews concerning this question, after 92, Vrykolakas as put on hold after the members decide to go their separate way due to different musical ideas. So kai (original member left) began to look for suitable members to reform vrykolakas and he finally found acomplete and dedicate musicians in 1998. All the current vrykolakas have metal experience way back in 89 with other bands.
