Greeting Enchained Souls & Carolina, please introduce yourself to metalthai.com readers.
Enchained Souls : Greeting Metal Thai readers, I am Carolina, female singer from Enchained Souls, a gothic metal band from Argentina. The full line up is Carolina Villamayor, vocals, Pablo Costamagna, guitars, Marcos Lacalle, bass guitar and Bruno Reggiani drums.

Can you breif the history of Enchained Souls? because I can not read your history in your official website.
Enchained Souls : The band started playing in march 2004. In augustof the same year, the band gave it's first performance in a local pub with an excellent audience acceptation. Since then, the band has given over 20 concerts in Bahia Blanca, Sierra de la ventana, Coronel Suarez and also in Buenos Aires city. In 2006, the band started recording their first full length album entitled "Tears of silence" which has had an incredible acceptation in Argentina and all over the world.That same year, Enchained Souls gave a performance in Buenos Aires city along with the English band Anathema. This concert was one of the best experiences the band has had so far.

After Tears Of Silence in 2005 and you change your sounds a little bit aggressive into Demo2007 "Symphonic Poems", that's good. And how about your new album "Silentium æternus", have something change? please compare all of these albums.
Enchained Souls : In 2007 the band released a demo called "Symphonic Poems" which has a new sound and sounds even more aggressive than its predecessor, "Tears of silence". This demo has been listened to in many countries around the world, particularly in Russia and Mexico. In september of the same year the band started recording it's new album, Silentium 'ternus. It was finished in october and presented live in the Tablado's Theatre in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. This new album was even more agressive than "Tears Of Silence" with more black metal passages and more agressive atmospheres.

What do you think about the band that have a woman stands in front of the stage, just like a leader of the band..have some good points or bad points?
Enchained Souls : Having a female character as leader voice it's not a problem, it depends on the kind of public you are dealing with, but our expirience was really positive. The best part is that perhaps you can reach people that with other kind of vocals could have never be interested in us, because in our country we are one of the few bands with a female lead voice, in fact in Bahia Blanca, our native city, when we started, we were the only band with a female voice. Anyway having a female voice have it's pro's because there are many people who sees it interesting because it transmit a diferent image.

How about the metal scene in Argentina? That's the huge metal scene or not?
Enchained Souls : The metal scene in Argentina it's very complicated. There are many people who listen to metal bands but it's very hard to be well known in the scene. You have to do all from the very underground because there are not many labels interested in the metal scene. Here you can find a lot of people who listen to traditional heavy metal bands from Argentina but they don't want to accept that times have changed and they should accept those changes in music, so they do not want to support new generes, so it is really hard for a band like us to get well know, perhaps that's why for argentinian bands it eassier to be accepted in other countries than in it?s own country.

What's your plan after you released "Silentium aeternus "?
Enchained Souls : Now that we have realsed our new album, Silentium aeternus , we are trying to be accepted into a metal label so we can get to places that as independient band we will never be able to visit. For the moment we just want to play live in differents parts from Argentina presenting the album and why not in other countries, but for this time we are not going to compose for at least one year.

Have you guys ever come for vacation or something in Thailand? Hey if you have a chance, please come...beautiful nature like you, Carolina.
Enchained Souls : We hope to be able to go to Thailand some day but unfortunelly now we are not able to affort the cost of the travel. But we are sure that in a future we will be there playing presenting Silentium aeternus, or that's what we expect.
