Do you still remember the first debut “The War Inside” album in 2006? They do not have the permanent vocalist from that time. Now, they backed with the new album “I, Human” and band members are Mithun (Vocals), Ryan (Guitars), Casper (Bass) and Shai (Drums).
From the last album – “The War Inside”, they talked about the war, blood and humanity. This time they had the perspective of the future on the concept of Asimov’s I, Robot. One day, you woke up in the early morning and found that everybody around you are the cloning humans!?!! Whatta hells are you doing???
For the music of Deus Ex Machina (DEM), they played heavy / death metal with the influence root on thrash blend with some melodic. This album, they added some sci-fi / horror atmospheres which full fill on the song appropriately. The negative point of views on this album is the recording and mixed, I have to say about the drum recording that really outstanding from the other sounds which drown out the other instruments, they should to improve for the next time.
The artwork and design are really good with the concept of the album (design by Mike Priest of Hell’s Labyrinth Design Studio). If you interest of this band, come to check their songs at myspace.com/demsg and you can contact with the band at band.dem@gmail.com
